Groundhog’s Day - here we go again. Continuing on we have two brand new releases from aphasein: Cascading and Numbers.

Cascading

11-track album originally started in May/June 2019, then mainly written during October/November 2019. Quite a mix of gentle IDM-esque flavors, but seems to taste the most like μ-ziq’s Chewed Corners, bringing back a late-90’s palette with a fresher edge to it.

Numbers

4-track companion EP recorded right at the end of the Cascading album in November 2019. Reminiscent of mid-90’s Gescom EP’s with it’s crunchy industrial percussion and stutter-y vocal snippets, topped off by the nostalgic melodies of epic closing title track Numbers.
